If I buy an OEM, then I can get onsite repair services in case I am not available. I know that one problem with a custom machine would be that I would personally have to go onsite to fix it. Why would I want to buy a "Server" that cost $1500-2000? When I can build an equal or better machine for less? Or I could build 2 machines, one main server and a redundancy server as a backup?
